Privacy Policy

Version 2.0 · Effective 25 September 2026

Untraceable AI runs a language model on your iPhone. There is no account, no sign-in and no server belonging to us. We do not collect, receive, store or sell any of your data — we have nowhere to put it. The app contains no third-party AI service: your prompts, documents and photos are processed by the model bundled inside the app, on your device, and are never sent to any AI provider.

The short version. Your conversations, documents and photos are processed on the device and written only to the app's own storage. Nothing is transmitted anywhere unless you turn on web search, open the in-app browser, or use dictation — each of which is described below, in plain terms. The app contains no cloud AI service of any kind. Before the first transmission to a search engine, the app shows you a permission screen naming the recipient and listing exactly what would be sent, and nothing is sent unless you agree.

Who we are

Untraceable AI is published by an independent developer. Contact: sivavimelrajhen@gmail.com. This policy covers the iOS app "Untraceable AI" (bundle identifier com.svr.untraceableai) and nothing else.

What we collect, how we collect it, and how it is used

The developer collects no personal data. There is no account, no server of ours and no analytics, so none of the data below is ever transmitted to us. It is listed in full anyway, because you are entitled to know what the app handles, how it obtains it, what it does with it, and who else can ever see it.

DataHow it is collectedHow it is usedWho else receives it
Messages you write Typed or dictated by you into the composer Passed to the language model on your device to generate a reply; stored in the conversation file on your device No one
AI replies Generated on your device by the bundled model Displayed and stored in the conversation file on your device No one
Photos you attach Chosen by you from your library, or taken with the camera Read on device with Apple's Vision framework; the resulting description is given to the on-device model No one
Documents you attach Chosen by you from the Files app Text extracted on device; the relevant excerpt is given to the on-device model No one
Model files you import Chosen by you from the Files app Copied into the app's folder and loaded as the active model No one
Your settings Your choices in the app (theme, accent, standing instruction) To render the app the way you set it up No one
Search queries Typed by you, only while web search is switched on Sent to a public search engine to fetch results, which are shown to you and summarised by the on-device model DuckDuckGo, Microsoft Bing or Google — after your explicit permission
Dictated audio Captured from the microphone only while you are dictating Transcribed into text that is placed in the composer Apple's speech recognition service
Pages you open in the in-app browser A link you tap in a search result, or an address you enter Loaded and displayed; page text is extracted on device for the page assistant The website you opened; its domain reaches Google's public favicon service
Analytics, telemetry, crash reports, advertising identifiers, location Not collected — the app contains no code that gathers any of these — No one
No third-party AI service. The only language model in this app is the one bundled inside it, running on your device. There is no cloud AI provider, no API-key feature and no way to add one, so your prompts, documents and photos cannot be sent to any AI company.

Third parties, and the protection they provide

The complete list of third parties that can ever receive anything, what each one receives, and why:

Third partyReceivesTheir policy
DuckDuckGo, Microsoft Bing, Google Search The words you type as a search query, when web search is on and you have granted permission duckduckgo.com/privacy · privacy.microsoft.com · policies.google.com/privacy
Apple Dictated audio, when you use the microphone, via the operating system's speech recognition apple.com/legal/privacy
Websites you open Your request for the page, as with any browser Each site's own policy

We confirm that we share data only with the services named above, only on your explicit instruction, and only the items listed. Before integrating any third party we confirm that its published privacy policy provides protection equal to or stronger than the protection described in this policy, and we do not integrate any service that would receive your data without the in-app permission described below. No data is sold, and none is shared for advertising or profiling.

What stays on your device

All of the following is stored locally, in the app's own container, and is never sent to us:

ItemWhere it lives
Chat messagesThe app's Documents folder, as plain JSON files (the last five sessions)
Attached photosHeld in memory for the turn; the extracted description is stored with the message
Attached documentsText is extracted on device; the excerpt used for the answer is stored with the message
The language modelBundled inside the app; any model you import yourself goes to the app's Documents folder
Your settingsThe app's preferences (theme, accent, system instruction)
Two things worth knowing about local storage. The app's Documents folder is visible in the iOS Files app under "On My iPhone", so anyone who can unlock your phone can read your saved conversations. Those files are also included in unencrypted iTunes/Finder backups and, if you have it enabled, in iCloud device backups. Use a device passcode, and encrypt local backups.

Permission before anything is sent

Web search is optional and switched off until you enable it. The first time it would actually transmit something, the app shows a full-screen disclosure that states:

You then choose to agree or to cancel. Cancelling leaves the message unsent and the permission ungranted, and the app makes no request. Permission is recorded separately for each recipient — agreeing to one provider says nothing about any other. You can withdraw every permission at any time in Settings → Data sharing, or by switching web search off again; the disclosure then appears the next time.

We only integrate third-party services that publish a privacy policy offering protection equal to or stronger than this one, and we never route your data through any server of ours — there isn't one. The complete list of recipients is below.

What leaves the device, and only when you ask

1. Web search — off by default

Tapping the globe in the composer asks your permission the first time, then turns on web search for that conversation. When it is on, the text of your query is sent directly from your phone to public search engines (DuckDuckGo, Bing and Google, depending on the mode) so that results can be fetched. Result images and video thumbnails are loaded from the sites that host them, including YouTube. We are not a party to those requests and never see them; they are governed by each service's own privacy policy. Turn web search off and no such request is made.

The "Location" search mode is a search keyword only. The app does not use Core Location, has no location permission and never reads your GPS position.

2. The in-app browser

Opening a link from a search result loads that page in an in-app browser, which behaves like any browser: the site you visit sees your request. The page assistant also fetches the site's small icon from Google's public favicon service, which means that request tells Google the domain you are viewing. Nothing else about the page, and nothing you type in the assistant, is sent there.

3. Dictation

The microphone button uses Apple's built-in speech recognition. Depending on your device, language and settings, iOS may send the audio to Apple's servers to transcribe it, and Apple's privacy policy applies to that processing. We never receive the audio or the transcript. If you prefer nothing to leave the device, type instead of dictating.

What we never do

Permissions the app may ask for

PermissionWhy
MicrophoneOnly while you hold dictation, to capture speech for transcription
Speech recognitionTo turn that audio into text, using Apple's recogniser
CameraOnly when you choose "camera" in Add sources, to attach a photo for on-device analysis
PhotosOnly when you pick an existing image to attach

Each is requested at the moment you first use that feature, and declining it disables only that feature. Photo and document analysis itself runs on the device using Apple's Vision framework — the image is not uploaded anywhere.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone. A language model can produce inaccurate or unsuitable text, and the web search feature reaches the open internet, so younger users should be supervised.

Keeping and deleting your data

Conversations stay on your device until you delete them. Remove a single session from the "sessions" sheet, or delete the app to remove everything it ever stored, including any model you imported. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete, export or restore on your behalf — and no request you could make to us would reach your conversations.

Your rights

Data protection laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights over personal data held by a company. We hold none: the app performs no collection, and the developer operates no server that receives app data. Your data is under your control on your own device.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behaviour changes, this page is updated and the version and date at the top change with it. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
