The whole app runs on your phone, so most things are fixable right there. Start here — and if it is not covered, email sivavimelrajhen@gmail.com with what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.
Neither. The AI model ships inside the app. Install it, open it, and start typing — in Airplane Mode if you like. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to download on first launch.
About 800 MB of the install is the language model itself. That is the trade for an assistant that works with no connection and sends nothing anywhere. Download over Wi-Fi.
The model is loaded into memory the first time you send something after launch. After that, replies start quickly. On older iPhones the app automatically uses a lighter configuration, which is slower but uses far less memory.
+ → Instruction. Anything you put there — "always answer in bullet points", "reply in Malay" — is applied to every new reply until you change it.
Use + in the message bar: Image for a photo you already have, Camera to take one, File for a PDF, Word, Excel or text document. Ask your question in the same message. Text recognition runs on the device; nothing is uploaded.
Tap the microphone. Speech recognition uses iOS and needs Microphone and Speech Recognition permission the first time.
The clock icon in the header lists your recent conversations; the + button there starts a clean one. Tap any conversation to pick it back up.
Nothing below happens unless you turn it on, and turning it off stops it. The privacy policy sets out exactly what each one sends and to whom.
Tap the globe in the message bar to let a reply draw on live results. The chips — News, Location, Images, Videos — narrow what it looks for. Tap the globe again to go back offline.
AI button → Import your AI API. Paste your own key for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Groq, Mistral, DeepSeek or Qwen, or point Custom at any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — including a local server such as Ollama or LM Studio on your own network. You are billed by that provider, not by us. Switch back to the on-device model from the same menu at any time.
AI button → Import your AI model and pick a
.gguf file from Files. The bundled Llama 3.2 1B cannot be deleted,
so you always have a working fallback.
InApp → Mail. Choose your provider and connect. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and iCloud all require an app-specific password rather than your normal one — the app shows the steps for each. The app talks to your mail server directly; nothing passes through us.
If connecting fails, it is almost always the password type. Generate a fresh app password and paste it without spaces.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| GameHub | Play the built-in games, or describe one and have the AI build it |
| AI Gallery | Search and save images (needs a connection) |
| Read, summarise and draft email | |
| To Do | Tasks with reminders |
| Notes | Write, have the AI tidy it up, export |
| Transcribe | Speech to text, then summarise it |
Sliders icon in the header → Settings. Eight accent colours; the whole app — logo, chat bubbles, buttons and menus — follows immediately. Light and dark mode are in the same place. The Home Screen icon keeps its own colour.
Everything is in the app's own folder on your iPhone. Open the Files app → On My iPhone → Private Offline AI to copy conversations, notes and saved images out. Individual replies have Copy and Share buttons underneath them.
An encrypted iPhone backup (iCloud or Finder) carries the app's data across. There is no account to sign into, so nothing syncs by itself — if you restore from a backup you keep your conversations; if you install fresh, you start clean.
Delete the app. Nothing of yours exists anywhere else, because nothing is ever sent anywhere.
The install is incomplete. Delete the app and reinstall it over Wi-Fi with enough free space — you need roughly 1 GB free.
On 3 GB and 4 GB iPhones, memory is tight. Close other apps, start a new conversation rather than continuing a very long one, and avoid attaching several large documents at once.
Check the globe is lit and that you have a connection. Some networks and VPNs block the search providers the app uses.
The bundled model is a small one — about a billion parameters — chosen so it fits and runs on a phone. It is good at drafting, rewriting, summarising and everyday questions, and it will sometimes get facts wrong. For anything that matters, check it. For harder work, connect a larger cloud model with your own key.
Email sivavimelrajhen@gmail.com. Please include your iPhone model and iOS version — it is the difference between a guess and a fix.
