Most questions are about where a number came from — and every number in the app answers that itself. Tap it.
Type a ticker on the Markets screen. Over ten thousand US companies and funds are bundled in the app, so search works offline and instantly. Tap one and it downloads twelve years of filings and ten years of prices, once.
The flag at the top right of Markets switches market. Sixteen are supported. Whatever you follow keeps updating regardless of which country you are viewing.
Charts, screens, comparisons, the portfolio and the written summaries all run on the device. A connection is only needed to fetch new data.
Tap any figure. You get what it measures, the arithmetic that produced it, the sector median it sits against, and every XBRL concept, period and accession number behind it — with a link that opens the filing on sec.gov.
Because it files nothing with the SEC, and SEC filings are the only source this app quotes a financial figure from. Prices, returns, volatility and dividends all work for it. If the same company also lists in the US it files a 20-F, and under its US ticker everything works.
The price feed this app uses has no Muscat Securities Exchange coverage. Rather than list a country that silently finds nothing, Oman is left out until a source exists.
Deliberate. Anything the model writes is checked against the figures the app computed; a sentence containing a number the app did not compute, or any hint of a recommendation, is discarded and the app's own wording is shown instead. On a model this small that check fires often. That is the feature working.
They are end-of-day closes from a public feed, and are labelled as delayed everywhere they appear. This is an app for reading filings, not for trading.
Tap it and open the filing. If the app disagrees with the filing, that is a bug and I want to hear about it — email the ticker and the measure. If they agree, the filer reported it that way.
Every screen with a table exports CSV in full, with no row cap: metrics with their sources, full statements, price history, dividends, screens, the portfolio and the correlation matrix.
Settings has "Clear downloaded data". Deleting the app removes everything else. There is no account and no server copy, so there is nothing else to erase.
iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later. The app is around 800 MB because the language model ships inside it — that is what makes it work with no connection and no account.
