Everything the app knows lives in its own private container on your device: your watchlists, your holdings, your saved screens and notes, and the filings and prices it has downloaded. These are ordinary files, encrypted at rest by iOS, and they are deleted when you delete the app.
There is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and no sync. The data is on your phone and nowhere else.
Only requests for public information, each one identifying a company and nothing else:
A company's own filings — the XBRL from its 10-K, 10-Q and 20-F, its insider Form 4s and, for funds, Form N-PORT. Public record.
Daily closes, dividends and splits for a ticker. Delayed, never live quotes, and labelled as delayed everywhere they appear.
Those services see a request for a public company from an ordinary IP address, with no identifier attached. They are not told who you are, what you hold, or what else you have looked at.
The app uses an ephemeral network session: no cookies are stored or sent, no credentials are kept, and everything is discarded when the app closes. A data source cannot recognise your device tomorrow as the one that asked today.
The language model is bundled inside the app and runs entirely on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere for it to work, and it works with no connection at all.
You may optionally connect your own third-party AI service in Settings by supplying your own API key. If — and only if — you do that, the computed figures for the company on screen are sent to that provider so it can phrase them. Those are the same numbers already visible to you. Your watchlists, holdings and history are still never sent. Your key is stored on your device only. This is off by default and the app is fully functional without it.
None. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting to a third party, no attribution framework, no advertising network and no tracking of any kind. The app does not ask for the App Tracking Transparency permission because it has nothing to track you with.
