How it decides

  1. Your rulesWritten by you, or learned the moment you correct something. Deterministic, and never overridden by the model.
  2. Your own historyWhat you filed this merchant under before, and what the entries that look like this one became.
  3. The on-device modelOnly for what is left — and it chooses from a shortlist of your categories. It cannot invent one.
  4. YouAnything below your confidence bar comes to the review inbox with its evidence attached.
The model helps decide what something is. It never works out how much. Every total, tax figure and balance is arithmetic over your own transactions.

Why offline is the point

Bookkeeping data is the most sensitive thing a small business holds: what it earns, who it pays, what it owes, and when it is short. This app cannot leak it, because it never sends it. There is no account to breach and no server to subpoena.
