Study any subject, rehearse an interview, or sit a practice exam. The language model is inside the app, so there is no account to create, no subscription to renew, and nothing to upload. Turn it on in a plane and it works exactly the same.
Tell it the subject and why you are learning it. Attach your notes as a PDF or DOCX and it teaches from them — explanations and examples, not a quiz.
Give it the role, your experience and your résumé. It runs a realistic mock interview, one question at a time, drawn from what is actually on your CV.
Multiple choice or written answers. Every answer is marked and the correct one explained before you move on to the next question.
The things students put into a tutor are not casual: unfinished coursework, a résumé with an address on it, the topics they know they are weak at, a practice exam they did badly in. None of that needs to be on anyone else's server, and in this app it never is.
The bundled model is enough for most studying. If you want something else, you have both options and neither is a paid tier:

Cloud is off unless you set it up. When it is on, your session text goes to that provider; switch back to the bundled model and the network path closes again.
iPhone or iPad on iOS 16.4 or later, and about 800 MB free — most of which is the model itself. Because of that size, iOS installs it over Wi-Fi.
A model small enough to run on a phone is excellent at explaining, drilling and rehearsing. It is not a reference work, and it will occasionally be confidently wrong. Check anything that matters against your course material — and attach your own notes, which makes it markedly more accurate.
