Last updated 15 September 2026. The short version: EasyFast has no servers, so there is nowhere for your data to go.
No account · No analytics · No servers · Nothing collectedNothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no email address, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier and no tracking of any kind. The developer has no way to see that you have installed the app, let alone what is in it.
Your food diary, your weigh-ins, your saved meals, the foods you added and
your profile are stored as a handful of ordinary JSON files in the app's own
private folder on your device — Application Support, not
Documents. iOS encrypts that folder at rest. It is not visible in
the Files app and it is not shared with other apps.
Files you export sit in the app's cache folder instead, because they are disposable copies of data the app already holds. They are marked so that they are not swept into a backup, and iOS is free to clear them.
If you have iCloud Backup switched on for your device, iOS may include the app's folder in your own encrypted device backup. That is between you and Apple; EasyFast neither requests nor reads it.
Updating EasyFast does not touch what you have logged. The diary folder belongs to the app, not to the version of it you happen to have installed, and iOS keeps it across updates. Deleting the app deletes the folder with it — that is the only thing that clears your history, apart from the erase button inside the app.
The language model — Llama 3.2 1B — ships inside the app and runs on your device through llama.cpp. Nothing you type goes to a server to be understood. It works in aeroplane mode, on the first launch, before you have ever had a connection.
The model never produces a calorie figure. Every number in the app comes from the food database on the device or from arithmetic on what you logged, and anything the model writes is checked against those figures before it is shown to you. Where that check fails, you get the computed answer and the app says so on the message.
You may connect an external provider with your own API key. If, and only if, you do that and switch it on, the text of your question and the short fact sheet the app computed to answer it are sent to the provider you chose, over HTTPS, using your key. Your diary, your weigh-ins and your profile are never sent. Your key is stored on this device only. Turning the feature off stops it immediately; the app is fully functional without it.
The camera is used only to decode a barcode in front of it, and only while the scanning screen is open. No image is saved and no image is transmitted. You can refuse the permission and every other part of the app still works.
If you use dictation, iOS speech recognition turns speech into text. This is requested on-device where your device supports it. The resulting text is treated exactly like anything you typed.
EasyFast does not read from or write to Apple Health, and requests no HealthKit permissions.
EasyFast contains no crash-reporting or analytics SDK of any kind. If you have switched on Share iPhone Analytics in iOS Settings, iOS may send Apple a crash log for any app on your device, including this one. That is an iOS setting under your control, the developer receives nothing from it unless you have also chosen to share with developers, and a crash log contains no diary content.
There are none. No adverts, no advertising SDK, no in-app purchases, no subscription and no payment processor. Nothing in the app is a funnel to anything.
EasyFast is not directed at children and should not be used by anyone under 18 without the involvement of a doctor or dietitian.
GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and every regime like them give you rights of access, correction, portability, erasure and objection against whoever holds your data. Nobody holds yours but you, so there is nothing to request from us and no request we could usefully answer.
What those rights would have given you is already in the app, without asking anyone: More → Your data exports the diary, the weigh-ins and the daily totals as plain CSV, or the whole thing as one JSON backup that restores exactly. The same screen erases everything. Deleting the app deletes the data with it. None of it is rate-limited, gated behind a purchase, or dependent on this developer still being here.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published here and the date above will change. A change that introduced any form of collection would be described plainly, at the top.
EasyFast is made by an independent developer, contactable at sivavimelrajhen@gmail.com. There is no company, no data-processing agreement to sign and no sub-processor list, because there is no processing — which is the whole point of building it this way.
