Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Car Run: Traffic Racer ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the application on iPhone and iPad. Car Run: Traffic Racer is published by SVR and is available on the Apple App Store under the bundle identifier com.svr.carrunios.
We designed Car Run: Traffic Racer to collect as little information as possible. The App itself does not require an account, does not ask for personal details, and does not track your identity across other apps or websites.
Information We Collect
Information stored on your device
Car Run: Traffic Racer stores the following data locally on your device only, in iOS user defaults storage:
- Best score and best distance
- Selected car preference
- Music and sound effect volume settings
This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.
Information collected by advertising partners
Car Run: Traffic Racer displays banner advertisements during gameplay using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process the following to serve and measure ads:
- Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt
- Device identifiers and general device information (model, OS version, language)
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
This data is collected directly by Google and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and the AdMob Help Center.
App Tracking Transparency
In compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, the App will request your permission before allowing third-party advertising partners to access the IDFA on your device.
If you decline the prompt, you will still see banner ads inside the App, but they will be non-personalized — based only on context, not your previous activity. Your gameplay experience is unchanged.
You can change your decision at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.
How Information Is Used
- To save your in-game progress and preferences locally on your device
- To display relevant advertisements through Google AdMob
- To measure ad performance and prevent fraud
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information with third parties beyond the advertising network described above.
Children's Privacy
Car Run: Traffic Racer is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertisements served by AdMob are configured to comply with Apple's Kids and Family guidelines and applicable child-protection laws including COPPA.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to the App without parental consent, please contact us and we will promptly delete any such information.
Your Choices
Reset or limit your Advertising ID
You can reset your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or revoke tracking permission at any time:
- Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking — toggle "Allow Apps to Request to Track" on or off, or per-app
- Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising — toggle "Personalized Ads" off
Clear local data
You can clear all locally stored progress by deleting the App from your device. iOS automatically removes all app data when you uninstall.
Third-Party Services
Car Run: Traffic Racer integrates the following third-party services:
- Google Mobile Ads SDK — Google Privacy Policy
- Google User Messaging Platform (consent management) — Google Privacy Policy
Data Retention
Local data persists on your device until you uninstall the App or manually clear it. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's own retention policies and is not stored or accessible by SVR.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
